a 35th to remember │ family photojournalism │ a day in the life │ aliciaTphoto
This family has my heart. They have very quickly become dear friends to me and I am lucky to have crossed paths with Catherine and her boys, who so openly welcomed me into their lives and their home. As a fellow photographer Cat knows the feeling of being the memory keeper and not the subject of family photos, so when we decided to have this super fun session (on her birthday!) I was over the moon. It always feels awkward to be in front of the camera when you're accustomed to being behind it, but Catherine took it in stride and the end results are glorious. She is such a beautiful soul and I know how excited her boys were to be in the photos with their Mama. I know that they will look through this album many times and remember that perfectly rainy day we spent at Fort Whyte Alive for Mommy's birthday. Thank you Cat & Ian for trusting me with your family's memories. It was such a perfect day (rain and all!) and I am honoured you asked me to be a part of it! Cat, I know your boys will all look back on this day with so much love. Cheers! ~Alicia **If you're looking to preserve a day in your life, please contact me! I would love to hear from you!
