You're about to learn 2 things about me. Maybe you knew them, maybe not.

1) I am the in-house volunteer photographer for You Can't Spoil A Baby

2) I don't normally offer mini sessions

However, in honour of Mother's Day, moms everywhere and in the spirit of moms helping other moms, for the months of April and May, I will be offering 30-45 minute mini "mom & me" sessions for $100, with $25 from each session going directly to You Can't Spoil A Baby. Why? Why would I do something so crazy? It's because I truly believe in what You Can't Spoil A Baby does, and they are in need of a helping hand to keep doing what they do. While their list of volunteers continues to grow, so does the list of families applying for baby gifts.

Back story on YCSAB; It's an amazing non-profit, volunteer run organization that takes our gently loved baby items (clothes, toys, cribs, etc... you can view a list of their most needed items HERE if you would like to donate) and turns them into custom baby gifts for Manitoba families in need.

My 2 favorite things about this organization are 1) that it allows for all of our once loved baby items to go to new and good homes where they will be loved again by another baby, and 2) it creates a great sense of community. Families helping families. Moms helping moms. It's about lifting each other up and showing support for each other and I LOVE it!

What would be included in your 30-45 minute mini session you ask? Well, think about what kind of "mom & me" session you want. Is it a quiet nursing session to document those fleeting days before they're done? Is it a babywearing session to document the precious babywearing love and snuggles, before your toddler toddles off on their own 2 feet for good? Is it maybe even baking with your own mom?? The possibilities are endless! It would be a documentary style session of your choosing and at the end you will have an online album that you may download and print/share your images from.
